Glenn R. Morris

Glenn R. Morris, 70, of North Baltimore passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Heritage Manor. Glenn was born on April 29, 1942 to Harry and Lois (Christlieb) Morris in Toledo, Ohio. Glenn married his first wife Dorothy Margaret Arndt and she preceded him in death on December 14, 1991.

Glenn is survived by his wife, whom he married December 30, 1994, Marjorie M. (Thuma) Morris; children, Victoria (Ken) Morris, Jason R. (Alison Wade Stokes) Harle, Robert Morris, and Kimberly Morris; daughter-in-law, Alison Rice Harle; mother, Lois Morris; brother, Michael H. (Jackie) Morris; uncle, Beryl “Chris” Christlieb; grandchildren, Curtice Morris, Neil Savage, Brent (Melanie) Morris, Cortney Friess; step-grandchildren, Austin Jarred Nye, Kylah Lynn Marie Harle, Autumn Elisabeth Harle, and William Douglas Stokes; great-granddaughter, Emmajean Margaret Morris; and nephews, Chad and Chris Morris. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Harry Morris.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends one hour prior (10 -11 a.m.) to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glenn’s name may be made to the educational fund for his grandchildren.

    I just wanted to send our love to you. We’re so sorry that you must live without your beloved Glenn for a time. It must be a joy to know that he is in the presence of the Lord. It was a blessing to meet up with you again recently. I’m so glad I was permitted this happiness, which brought me back into your circle of friends at a time when you needed prayer.

    Glenn had such a loving spirit and was such a great witness for God. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
