  2. Bobs Family,

I was so shocked and saddened to read about Bob. I am a cashier at menards and always enjoyed talking to Bob whenever he came in, we always talked about our gardens and he’d always ask about our bees. He came and got some of them about 2 years ago or so. I’d been wandering about him ’cause I haven’t seen him in awhile. What a shock!, as it is to all of you. I will miss talking to him, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
    Sincerly,
    Pat DeMuth

  8. To Roberts family; I am so sorry to hear about this and my thoughts will be with you. I am a former student of his from Owens and I just seen him a few weeks ago in class. I had him for two classes this summer and one last fall. I couldn’t believe it when I read last weeks paper today. Had I read it on time I would have paid my respects on Friday. He gave a quiz and one of our extra credit questions was about a hive tool he had;and no got it right. he was a bit sneaky. He had just got that little trailer to make things easier on himself. He was a good teacher and taught me a lot in the short time I knew him. He will be remembered by many.

  9. Bob was a lovely man to work with. I’ll miss seeing him in the library and will always remember him and his glorious laugh.

Bob and I have been friends for 20 years, we both were Int’l cargo Inspectors, Bob had the Western part of Ohio and I had Eastern part.

I lost a good friend, and will remember him in my prayers.

I seen Bob back in July when he was here to do an Inspection, he would call me and tell me when he was here in town, and I would meet up with him and we talk about alot of different things, he was a very good Inspector and their isnt many of us left, but we know our job and do it the way it supposed to be done. I will miss you Bob, but the Inspection job has to be done, and it will be.
