David H. Edgell

David Harold Edgell, age 63, of Findlay, Ohio, lost his battle to breast cancer on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Tiffin Developmental Center surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November 27, 1955 in St. Marys, Pennsylvania to Phyllis (Cleveland) Edgell and the late Roger H. Edgell.

David never met a stranger, and stole your heart upon introduction. He loved spending his time watching trains and going on outings with his T.D.C. family, watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland Indians. David was a 45 year resident of Tiffin Developmental Center.

David is survived by his sisters, Mary Wilson of Findlay, Ruth Miller of Findlay, Deborah (Charlie) David of Findlay; brothers, John Edgell of Findlay, Roger (Suzanne) Edgell of Wharton, OH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Misty (Kirk) Behrman, April Wilson, Marc Edgell, Jeramy Edgell, Holly Wilson, Amanda Edgell, Ian (Emily) David, and Bryce David; and several great-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff and residents of Tiffin Developmental Center for their kind and compassionate care shown to David.

The family requests that you attend wearing your Buckeye or Indians attire in honor of David.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at  HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Meg Boger officiating. Memorial contributions in David’s name may be made to Tiffin Developmental Center Activity Fund or Stephanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer.
