James Louis Fuller Sr., 92, of Ormond Beach, Florida, peacefully passed away on November 26, 2019 at Halifax Health Hospice in Florida. He was born July 31, 1927 in Findlay to the late Harley Bish and Viola E. (Singleton) Fuller.
James was a Findlay High School graduate and shortly after enlisted with the United States Navy, serving his country during WWII. He loved Florida and looked forward to the day he could retire and move there. James enjoyed 30 years in the sunshine state. He was a tool and die machinist retiring in 1986. In his later years, he took up Ballroom dancing as his new hobby.
James is survived by his wife, Maria; children, James L. Fuller Jr. of The Villages, Florida, and Laura R. (Albert) Ball of Findlay. James was blessed as a grandfather to three grandchildren, Amy C. (Joshua) Hudson of Springfield, VA, Chelsea R. Fuller of Norwalk, OH, Caitlyn R. Fuller of Maumee, OH; and three great-grandchildren, Zoe Grace, Olivia Danielle, and Owen James. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Strait and Veloice (Ruth) Chandler.
Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay. Memorial Service will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in James’s memory may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
