On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Lois Jean Linville, 81, of Arcadia, peacefully passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 3, 1938 in Findlay to the late Paul and Martha (Cummins) Baker. Lois was united in marriage to Maurice Linville on September 29, 1956 in Auburn, Indiana and he survives. Lois was a homemaker, wife and mother, and an avid birdwatcher. She spent many blissful hours observing her feathered friends from her kitchen window. Lois worked briefly doing clerical work and in manufacturing. In her earlier days, Lois enjoyed motorcycle riding and took many trips throughout the United States with her husband.
In addition to her loving husband, Maurice, of 63 years, Lois is survived by her sons, Steve M. (Laurie) Linville of Arcadia, and Rex D. (Laura) Linville of Sarasota, FL. Beloved grandmother of James Linville of Glouster, VA, Beth (Jordan) Hay and Randy (Brittany) Linville, both of Arcadia, Jeff (Kirsten) Linville of Humble, TX, and Mallory Linville of Sarasota, FL. Loving great-grandmother of Kaylee, Christain, Hunter, Noah, Josslynn, Logan, Liam, Carson, and Maisie. Lois was preceded in death by her sisters, Carol Baker, Marjorie Thomas, and Bonnie Steman.
Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday following visitation. Interment will follow in Tawa Cemetery, Union Township. Memorial contributions in Lois’s name may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s choice.
