Melvin 1926-2016 Obituary

Melvin F. Gustin 89, of Findlay, passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Lincoln Park Manor in Kettering, Ohio. Melvin was born on December 10, 1926 in Center Twp., Ohio to the late Forest and Marie (Mercer) Gustin. He married Alice (Mullins) Gustin in 1983 and they have spent 32 years together. Melvin served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. After returning from the military, Melvin went on to work in sales for the Gulf Oil Company until his retirement. Melvin is survived by his wife, Alice Gustin; children, Jolene (Bobbie) Brant, Steve (Ellie) and Tim (Jennifer) DeWeese; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 12 - 2 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Full military honors will be performed by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Melvin's name may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Findlay.
