Robert J. Pahl, 87, of Findlay, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Birchaven Village. He was born November 30, 1931 in Findlay to the late Ignatius and Elizabeth (Kinstle) Pahl. Robert married Mary L. Pahl, and she preceded him in death in June.
Robert proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed auctions, restoring antiques, the old NASCAR racing, and working on cars.
Robert is survived by his sons, Kevin (Emmie) Pahl of Loveland, OH, Dennis (Shelley) Pahl of Findlay; daughters, Jane Pahl and Deanna (Darrin) Osborne, both of Bluffton, OH; six grandchildren, Shamus (Emily) Pahl, Tara (Clayton) Moore, Dustin (Lisa) Pahl, Sara Oler, Shane and Corey Osborne, Samantha (Nick) Darrell, Alexandra Taylor; four great-grandchildren, James, Luke, Hunter and Landen. He is also survived by sister, Mary (Bernie) Collet. Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Doyle; brothers, Kenny Pahl and Ned Pahl.
Friends and family may visit from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will be held at conclusion of visitation at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Father Mike Zacharias officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery with the Hancock County Veteran’s Memorial Squad performing full military rites.
