Ronald R. Manley, 83, of Findlay, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away surrounded by his family on September 7, 2019 at St. Catherine's Manor in Findlay. Ron was born in Pioneer, Ohio to the late Forest and LeVado (Price) Manley on July 25, 1936. On March 3, 1957, he married the love of his life, Kathy (Harper) Manley.
Ron enjoyed camping, boating and fishing off Lake Erie and spending time with family. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and the Zenobia Shrine Temple. He was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Findlay Chapter 23, where he served as Worthy Patron and 32 degree Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo.
Ron is survived by three children, Rick (Kathy McClelland) of Sanford, FL, Terri George (Jim Kirchner) of Westerville, OH, and Tammy (Todd York) of Mt. Blanchard, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathy; and an infant son, Randy.
The family would like to express a big Thank-You to the nurses and staff at Bridge Hospice and St. Catherine's for their kind and compassionate care shown to Ron and his family during this difficult time.
Friends and family may visit from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). In honoring the Manleys' Family request, those attending are asked to dress summer/casual attire (his love of fishing and Lake Erie). A private family service will be held at a later date.
