Aaron Andrew Schwarz, 39, of Mt. Blanchard, peacefully passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center surrounded by family. He was born on March 31, 1977 in Pittsburgh, PA to James W. and Carol (Aaron) Schwarz. Aaron married Rebecca Lynn McKibben on May 13, 2006 and she survives.
Aaron was a Baldwin High School graduate and attended California University of Pennsylvania earning his bachelor's degree. He coached for the Findlay Area Hockey Association for 3 years and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. Aaron was a loving father, husband, son, nephew, friend, and brother. He always put others needs above his own. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you to the James Cancer Center for their care and support. Also, thank you to Bridge Hospice Care Center for the compassion and care in Aaron's final days.
In addition to his loving wife of 10 years, Aaron is survived by two sons, Blaize William James and Brooks Aaron Robert Schwarz both of Mt. Blanchard. He is also survived by a brother, Jay Schwarz of Providence, RI; sister, Robin Schwarz; aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Bob) Luczak, Paul (Margie) Aaron, and Walter, Bob, and Ronald Schwarz all of Pittsburgh. Aaron was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl A. and Kathleen Aaron, James and Mary Jane Schwarz Sr.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 11:00 - 12:30 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Bright Road, with Msgr. Michael Hohenbrink to celebrate. Interment will take place in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date. Memorial contributions in Aaron's name may be made to the Cancer Patient Services, 1800 N.
