Alvin B. Curtis Jr., 68, of Findlay, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on April 13, 1950 to the late Alvin B. Curtis Sr. and Pauline L. (Tousley) Curtis-Thaxton.
Alvin graduated from Elmwood High School and went on to earning his Associate's at Stautzenberger College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, Pittsburg Steelers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Alvin is survived by his two children, Alvin (Jake) Curtis III of Fostoria, OH, and Sarah Curtis of Upper Sandusky, OH; and 4 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Janet L. Wiechman of Fostoria; and brother, Mike (Nancy) Curtis of Bowling Green.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 12 - 2 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home at the conclusion of visitation. The Pastor Jim Klausing will officiate. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren, OH. Memorial contributions in Alvin's name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice Care Center, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
