Ann Hixson

Ann Hixson, 86, of Findlay, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born on January 23, 1930 in Rochester, NH to the late Thomas and Frances (Shepard) Dubois. Ann married Danny A. Hixson and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2013. Ann liked to fish, enjoyed spending lots of time in Canada, Minnesota and Michigan. She also enjoyed traveling, especially going to Hawaii and Alaska. Ann is survived by her children, Brian (Diane Levesque) Gallagher, Katherine (Ronald) Ervin, Robert (Deb Montooth) Hixson, and Barbara (Douglas) Schwab; 8 grandchildren, Naomi Gallagher, Kenneth (Shara) Ervin, Christopher Clymer, Steven (Kim Redmond) Schwab, Bryce Hixson, McKenzie, Carley, and Ryan Montooth; 4 great-grandchildren, Skylar Clune, Caden and Eastin Ervin, Stormy Schwab; and sister, Mary Bickford. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Thomas Dubois; and a grandson, Bradley Ervin. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Ray Kane officiating. Memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
