Arnulfo “Arnie” S. Contreras

Arnulfo "Arnie" Salaz Contreras, 60, of Findlay, suddenly passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Lima, Ohio on December 20, 1957 to the late Luis Ortiz "La Polka" and Felicitas Contreras. He married Marsha Rutter Anderson and they later divorced. On September 3, 2016 he married Jennifer Dearth and she survives him. Arnie retired from Whirlpool after 38 ½ years of service. He was also a member of the Eagles. Arnie is survived by his wife, Jennifer; sons, Ryan and Brad (Tiffany) Contreras; and his step-daughter, Hattie Dearth; 4 grandchildren, Quintin and Garrison Contreras, Octavian and Zaiden Gonzales. He is also survived by his brothers, John (Chris) and Mike Flores, Mario (Mary), Jesse, and Santos Contreras. Arnulfo was preceded in death by his brother, Armando Contreras. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Interment will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, Ohio. Memorial contributions in Arnie's name may be made to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home or to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
