Austin R. Schey

Austin Ray Schey, 33, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family beside him on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was born on January 20, 1985 in Findlay to Douglas R. and Christine M. (Watkins) Schey. On January 4, 2018, Austin married Meagan Martin, she survives. Austin was a graduate of Findlay High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 2011 – 2014 before being honorably discharged. Austin was a cyber security analyst for the Department of Defense and a member of the Red Hawk Run Country Club. He enjoyed golf, baseball, watching movies, going to the casino, and playing and watching sports. Austin especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Austin is survived by his loving wife, Meagan; his parents; brother, Logan Schey; sister, Maddie Schey; and a step-son, Landon Moore. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1 - 5 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 27th. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad performing full military rites.
