Barbara Connolly

Barbara L. Connolly, age 89, of Findlay, passed away July 16, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born to John H. and Mildred (Stimson) Buck Sr. on September 23, 1933, in Findlay. Barbara married her sweetheart, John R. Connolly, in 1956 and they were married for 66 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Bryan (Julie) Connolly of Tupelo, MS, Steven (Dr. Susan Massey) Connolly of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Robin Connolly of Middleburg Heights, OH, and Mrs. William (Jill) Shilling of Findlay; and two sisters, Doris Dorman, and Mrs. Paul (Phyllis) Wilson, both of Findlay. Forever cherished and remembered by her two grandchildren, Mrs. Brett (Jennifer) Beeman of Lawrenceville, GA, and Justin (Kristen) Connolly of Florence, AL; and six great-grandchildren, Liam Everett Beeman, Declan Emerson Beeman, Kieran Eliza Beeman, all of Lawrenceville, Jemma Tate Connolly, Oliver Chase Connolly, and Elliott Ray Connolly, all of Florence; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on January 1, 2022; siblings, Rosalyn Leonard, and John H. Buck Jr., and brother-in-law, Michael Leonard.

A graveside service will be held at St. Michael Cemetery on Friday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
