Barbara L. Donegan, age 70, of Findlay, peacefully passed away December 30, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born August 10, 1953, in Findlay to Donald J. and Helen M. (Lenke) Stein. In 2003, Barbara married Charles Donegan, and he survives.
Barbara was a Findlay High School graduate and went onto Stautzenberger College for her associate degree. She was currently working in retail at Walmart. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends. Known as “Betty Crocker” by her co-workers, Barbara loved to cook and bake. Her passion was sewing, in which she sewed the American Flag that was displayed at Marathon Oil Company in remembrance of 9/11. She was so proud of her accomplishment! Above all, she adored time spent spoiling her grandsons.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Chuck; daughter, Amanda (Chris) Deitrick; grandsons, Zechariah, and Isaiah; sisters, Nancy Marvin, and Judy (Hank) Russell; and eight nephews, and four nieces. She was preceded in death by both parents; sons, David S. Wood, and Derrick Deitrick; brother, David J. Stein; and grandchildren, Ava and Eli Lewis.
Friends and family may visit Friday, January 5, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500, with funeral beginning at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Klausing to preside at the service.
