Beverly Carol Brown

Beverly Carol Brown (known to her friends as Carol), age 77, of Findlay, passed away on January 30, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born June 17, 1945, in Seattle, Washington to Owen DeVere and Betty (Huntsman) Wilson. She spent much of her youth in Marion, Ohio before moving to Butler, Ohio, and graduating from Clear Fork High School in 1963. She entered the workforce, at Cedar Creek Ranch, Tappan, General Motors, and Essex Wire where she met and then married Ronald Brown in October of 1977.

After marriage, Carol devoted herself to home and family. She treasured being a mom, a nana to her grandchildren, and a second mom to the many children that she cared for over her lifetime. With an avid appreciation of nature, she loved bird watching, flowers, and gardening. Carol also enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, and raising puppies.

Left behind to cherish Carol’s memories are her husband Ronald of 45 years; her children, Lauren (Matthew) Hall of Maumee and Ryan Brown (Dawn Riser) of Findlay; seven grandchildren she adored, Zoe, Riley, Natalie, and William Brown, Elyse, Owen, and Myla Hall; brother, Charles (Carleen) Wilson; and sister, Brenda (Donn) McCammon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Roger, Steven, and Paul Wilson.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Casual attire.
