Brenda L Eaken

Brenda Lee Eaken, 60, of North Baltimore, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home.

She was born on October 7, 1965, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Mike and Peggy (Newell) Leonard.

One of Brenda’s greatest acts of love was taking in her grandchildren, Jesse and Javin, when they were just two and three years old, raising them as her own. She had a deep and unwavering love for all her grandchildren. Spending time with them brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment they shared together.

Brenda is survived by her children, Kristy Walter (Robert Jaska), and Richard Eaken Jr. (Jessica Palacios); eight beloved grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Peggy Sims, Cindy Hosler, and Carmen Loy; aunt, Carolynn Henry; and her daughter-in-law, Shelby Elwood.

She was preceded in death by her parent, Mike and Peggy; son, Jonathan Leonard-Fackler, and her sister, Penny Hosler.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Findlay Moose Lodge #698, 1028 W. Main Cross St., Findlay, 45840. Pastor Mike Lyon will lead a service of remembrance.
