Brenda F. Keeran

Brenda Faye Keeran, 81, of Benton Ridge, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center with her family by her side, Thursday, August 27, 2026.

She was born June 7, 1945, in Lafayette, Georgia, to Fred and Bessie (Tucker) Lanier. Brenda married Larry Keeran on January 28, 1968. She worked at Off Broadway and Walmart.

Brenda found joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, especially known for her amazing coconut cake. She also enjoyed sewing, bowling, playing cards, and visiting the casino. Brenda was an avid Cleveland Guardians baseball fan and loved cheering on her team. She generously gave of her time supporting Scouts and 4-H, always willing to lend a helping hand and encourage others.

Those left behind to cherish Brenda’s memory are her husband; children, David (Debbie) Keeran of Perrysburg, Susan (Jon) Bickel of Alexandria, Anja (Thomas) Schlosser of Germany; grandchildren, David Keeran Jr., Ethan Keeran, Samuel Keeran, Gabriel Farthing, Nathaniel Farthing, Nina Schossler; niece, Glena (Ottis) Magee; brother, Renard (Ann) Lanier; sisters-in-law, Donna Keeran, Linda Lanier, Pat Lanier; and many nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Julie Keeran; siblings, Bud Lanier, Mattie Mills, Darnell Raines, Joe Lanier, Doyle Lanier, Allen Lanier, Bobby Lanier, Giles Lanier; and brother-in-law, Ron Keeran.

Friends and family may visit from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Brenda’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Cathy Davis officiating. She will be laid to rest at Benton Ridge Cemetery following the service.
