Brian Dean Kisseberth, passed to his eternal home surrounded by family at Blanchard Valley Hospital on Thursday, June 6, 2024, after a brave 3 ½ year-long battle with cancer.
Brian was born July 9, 1969, to Carl Dean and Judy (Dysert) Kisseberth in Benton Ridge, OH. He was a blessing from God, being the favorite middle child.
Brian was retired in 2020 from Hancock County Engineers after 30 years of service. In 1988, he graduated from Liberty-Benton High School. He loved playing basketball for L.B. and was exceptional at it. Just ask anyone. Kizzy was the BEST and very humble of his accomplishments.
He was a loving father of two wonderful boys. Brian was so proud of them and their accomplishments. They were always a topic of conversation. When asked about them, he just beamed with pride.
Brian was married to Kelly Sullivan (Kauffman) for 11 ½ years which produced his two wonderful boys, the heart and soul of him: Garrett Dean Kisseberth of Dublin, OH, and Lance David Kisseberth of Ada, OH.
Brian leaves behind his parents and his favorite sister, Kimberly (Kisseberth) Bisignano (Michael); his favorite baby brother, Scott Kisseberth (Kimberly); and many nieces and nephews.
A son, father, brother, uncle, and a friend to many, he was so loved because he had such a big heart. He was a helper to anyone that asked. He loved serving his community, mowing for many, cleaning the church and working at the village hardware.
Brian had a quiet faithfulness in Christ so it’s only fitting we leave with…
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life. You should mind your own business and work with your hands…so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders.” Brian had a quiet testimony, but he did seemingly small acts of service for others with dignity and respect and purpose.
Friends and family may visit from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Brian’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service. Pastor Richard Hiltibran to officiate. Interment will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery.
Please feel free to honor Brian with your favorite Cory-Rawson or Pittsburg Steelers gear. He was an avid fan of both organizations.
