Carl D. Harris

Carl D. Harris, 88, of North Baltimore, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. He was born May 14, 1933 in Letart, Ohio to the late Grover and Elisabeth (Nease) Harris. Carl married Lois Mae Harris on January 12, 1957 and she preceded him in death in 2018.

Carl was a truck driver for Bulkmatic Transport Co. retiring after many years. Carl served in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed every minute with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carl is survived by his son, David Harris; daughter, Rebecca A. Bailey; two grandchildren, Eric Harris, and Brooks Bailey; and four great-grandchildren, Paige, Erin, Tyler, and Kaiden. He is also survived by his brothers, Clifford, Cutis, and Carroll Harris; and sisters, Dorothy Ford, and Jane Bartenschlag.

Friends and family may visit Monday, October 18, 2021 from 2 – 4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) with the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad performing full military honors. Memorial contributions in Carl’s name may be made to the family in c/o the funeral home.
