Carleyle “Bud” Peterman, 54, of Findlay, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024. Born March 5, 1970, in Findlay, Bud was always known for his ornery, yet fun loving personality. No matter the situation, you could guarantee Bud would crack a joke or make you laugh somehow. He was friendly and never knew a stranger.
A proud father and grandfather, Bud is survived by his daughters, Christina Peterman of Findlay, Kayla (David) Winters of Bloomdale, and Elizabeth Peterman of Fostoria. His joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Kendra and Mackenzie of Findlay, and Kaycen, Wiley, Aubree, and Karsyn of Bloomdale. Bud also leaves behind his siblings, Earl Peterman of Dayton, Rose Marie (Shorty) Niswander of Gibsonburg, Cheryl (Ken) Eichler of Statesboro, J.J. Aurand of Findlay, and Rose Ann (Willard) Keaton of Findlay; nieces, Tina, Jessica, Chelsea, Tiffany, Trisha, and Melissa; nephews, JR, Adam, and Jesse; and all who will miss his presence deeply.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee and Nettie Mae Peterman; his sister, Pamela Sue Peterman; and brother, Richard Lee Peterman Jr.
Bud loved spending time with his girls and his grandkids. He enjoyed taking bike rides, going to parks, playing games, his work, working on cars and semis, and anything else to spend time with his family and his friends. He loved singing and had a great voice to do so. To know Bud was to know he was always a kid at heart and had a heart that reflected pure love of life and people.
In his later life, Bud attended Cedar Creek church with his daughter and family. Sadly, his diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease took away from continued time living life as he enjoyed most.
A service to celebrate Bud’s life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 404 S. Main St., Bloomdale, Ohio. His beloved dog, Nettie-Mae, and all who knew him will cherish his memory. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Bud’s family.
