Carol J. Gannon

Carol June Gannon, 80, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at her residence.

She was born April 22, 1946, in Ballville Township, Sandusky County, April 22, 1946, to Carl and Marjorie (Conrad) Butzier. Carol married David Gannon on September 22, 1989, and he survives with 37 years of marriage.

Carol was a graduate of Jackson Liberty High School. She worked as a waitress for many years and later in telemarketing, and she was a member of Christ’s Church at Tiffin.

Carol is survived by her husband, David Gannon; her son, Aaron (Jamie) Meade of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Tiffany (Matt) Barnes, Jaxson Meade, and Trevor (Kiana) Meade; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bruce Meade, in 2000; her sister, Janie Butzier; her brother, Tom Butzier; and her former husband, Daniel Meade.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Christ’s Church at Tiffin, 2586 US-224, Tiffin, OH 44883. Carol’s funeral will begin at 11:30 a.m. following visitation at the church with Pastor Andy Timm officiating. Interment will follow in Kansas Cemetery.
