Carolyn Fox

Carolyn Ann Fox, 80 years of age, of Rockford, Ohio, formerly of Van Buren, peacefully passed away at her residence on October 17, 2023. She was born February 18, 1943, in Springfield, Ohio, to Orylen and Edna (Truitt) Richendollar. Carolyn married James Fox in December 1968, and he survives.

Carolyn was a talented cookie baker and loved sharing her specialty cookies with friends and family. She enjoyed writing cards and letters to cherished friends and family and anyone who needed comfort.

Carolyn leaves behind her husband James of 54 years; her son Christopher (Lori) Fox of Napoleon, OH, her daughter, Karen (Bryan) Strickler of Mendon, OH, and her beloved grandchildren, Ella and Ethan Fox of Napoleon, Bailey (Dillon) Craig of Spearfish, SD, and Blake and Kamden Strickler of Mendon. She is also survived by a brother, Don Richendollar of St. Petersburg, FL, one niece, and two nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Donna Dunnett, and her sister-in-law, Debbie Richendollar.
