Charles Gibson

Charles Gibson, 77, of Findlay, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center, August 6, 2025. He was born in Kenton, to Roy and Marry (Appleton) Gibson on April 29, 1948.

Charles graduated from Hardin Northern High School and attended Ohio Wesleyan University. He worked for many years as a cook. He married Nancy Eller in 1970, and she survives.

He loved his Lord and Savior, was a devoted husband for 55 years, and loved family time with his children, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

Charles is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Sanchez and Nickole Burton; grandchildren, Braiden Smith, Mariah Crates, and Conner Hastings; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Jason; and sister, Sally Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Barb Hess, Jim Gibson, Leroy Gibson, and Rodger Gibson.

A celebration of Charles’ life will be Saturday, August 9 at 2 p.m. at Dunkirk Community Center. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Charles’ family.
