Charles “Rusty” Patterson Jr.

Charles "Rusty" M. Patterson Jr., of Findlay, passed away at the age of 71 on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Rusty was the beloved husband of Joyce DeBord of 52 years. He was born on August 12, 1947 in Bellevue, OH to the late Charles M. and Helen L. (Wilson) Patterson, Sr. Rusty was a high school graduate of Liberty-Benton. He retired from Ohio Bank and served on the Findlay Police Department and was a member of the F.O.P. and H.O.G. He loved hunting, fishing and playing poker with his brothers. One of his greatest enjoyments was riding his Harley. Rusty lived for his grandchildren and loved watching them play sports. Rusty is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; son, Kevin M. Patterson; daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Cook and Nicole R. Reyna; and his precious grandchildren, Ryan, Chase, Kristen, Kaitlyn, River, and Haylee. He is also survived by his brothers, Roger (Dana), Terry (Sandy), Gary (Teresa), and Pat; and a sister-in-law, Becky Patterson. Rusty was preceded in death by sister, Janet and her husband, Roger Nungester; and brother, Tim Patterson. Friends and family may visit on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 1 - 3 p.m. and 5 - 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).
