Cheyanne & Novalynn Sexton

NovaLynn Sexton was born on March 21, 2025, and after spending a few precious moments on earth, she gained her angel wings. Her grandma was able to love and rock NovaLynn in her arms and assure her that she was wanted and that everyone loved her and would miss her.

Cheyanne Sexton was born on December 6, 1996, to Jody Van Wormer and Roger Sexton. She was so looking forward to being a mom, and we believe that after she sensed that NovaLynn was no longer here on earth, she let go to be with her in heaven on March 22, 2025.

Those left to mourn Cheyanne and NovaLynn’s death are Cheyanne’s parents, Jody (fiancé, Anthony Bogle) Van Wormer and Roger (Betty) Sexton; grandmother, Katherine Albert; siblings, Natasha Wansitler, Heaven (Jalen Johnson) Wansitler, Brittney “Bee” Van Wormer, Diamond Hathaway, Landynn Mason, Dakota James Sexton, Tyler James Bell, Jonathan Courtney, Richard “Bean” Sexton; aunts and uncles, Debra Hauenstein, Christopher Van Wormer, Dean Van Wormer, Trudi Lynn Hill, Charles Daniel Melvin, Stephanie Elizabeth Wainwright, Christine Marie Billingsley; three nieces and three nephews.

Those who were waiting in heaven to welcome Cheyanne and NovaLynn were grandparents, Clyde Van Wormer, Wilma Van Wormer, Richard Albert; and uncle, David Hauenstein.

Cheyanne was a ball of sunshine whose smile and sense of humor could light up a room. She loved all types of music and would sing to anything and was so looking forward to singing to NovaLynn. We are comforted by believing she is singing to and rocking her now.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).

Memorial contributions in Cheyanne and NovaLynn’s names may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
