Christa Wojciechowski

Christa Ann Wojciechowski, beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 21, 2025, at the age of 41. Born on December 21, 1983, in Findlay, Ohio, Christa brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone she met.

Christa’s greatest joy in life was her daughter, Zayla Wojciechowski. A proud and passionate “softball momma,” Christa could always be found cheering from the sidelines, beaming with pride and love. Zayla was her heart, her purpose, and her greatest accomplishment.

Known for her open heart and listening ear, Christa never met a stranger. She had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Her laughter was contagious, her loyalty unwavering, and her spirit full of joy and compassion. She was the kind of friend who showed up—always.

Christa is survived by her daughter Zayla; her mother, Betty Wojciechowski; her father, Michael (Shirley) Wojciechowski; her brothers, Joshua (Angelica) Wojciechowski and Mark (Natalie) Wojciechowski; and her nieces and nephew, Charlotte, Ava, and Grant. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend and aunt, Katherine Cross, as well as her step-siblings: Fortune (Dan) Bormuth, Nathan (Todd) Short, Matt (Stephanie) Short, Greg Short, James Short, and Heather Smith. Christa will be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Christa Williams, and her beloved uncle, Bobby Williams.

In keeping with Christa’s vibrant spirit, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. She didn’t want tears or sorrow—she wanted laughter, stories, and the warmth of togetherness. Her family invites all who knew her to join in remembering the joy she brought into the world.

A GoFundMe has been established to help with memorial expenses. Contributions are deeply appreciated as the family honors Christa’s memory.

Christa’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and light. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered with endless affection.
