Christine D. Martin

Christine Diane Martin, 64, of Findlay, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

She was born on December 6, 1961, to Daniel Martin and Elizabeth (Lonyo) Angus. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Richard Angus; her father, Daniel Martin; sisters, Tammy Martin and Misty Martin; brother, Vincent Martin; and nephew, Christopher Shilling.

She is survived by her children, Vanessa (Martin) Peace, Jamie (Brandin) Heitmeyer, and Alfred (Chris) Austin III, all of Findlay; grandchildren, Chance Harper, Jayde Campbell, Braydin Heitmeyer, Mackenzie Heitmeyer, Kiarah Harper, Caleb Austin, and MaKayla Heitmeyer; and two great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Vicki (Richard) Shilling, Brenda Martin, Danny (Julie) Martin, Elizabeth (Shelia) Wilson, and Stephanie McMillion; son-in-law, Chad Harper, and many nieces, and nephews.

Christine’s children and grandchildren were her world. She cherished every moment spent visiting the kids, traveling to campgrounds, and gathering for family barbecues. Christine also enjoyed trips to the casinos and took great joy in collecting porcelain dolls. A devoted Ohio State Buckeye fan, she proudly supported her team and never missed a chance to cheer them on. Above all, Christine will be remembered for her deep love of family and the joy she found in being surrounded by those she loved most.

Friends and family may visit from 2-4 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Christine’s memory can be made to the funeral home.
