Clifford Gardner

Clifford Gardner, 85, of Findlay, went to his eternal resting place on February 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

He was born February 7, 1939, in Salyersville, KY, to Carlos and Bonnie (Clemons) Gardner.

Clifford was married to Naomi Gardner, from whom he later divorced. She passed away in 2014. He later married Rosemary (Emerine) Gardner, and they divorced. She preceded him in death in 2024.

Clifford worked for Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay for 17 years. He attended Cedar Creek Church and Gateway Church in Findlay. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, flea markets, and gun shows.

Clifford is survived by his children, Trish (Tim) Evans of Spring Hill, TN, Bill (Sonya) Gardner of Bluffton, OH, and Rick (Ronda) Gardner of Alvada, OH; grandchildren, Kari Cunningham, Rachel Gardner, Shaye Lee, Justin Evans, Lexi Gardner, Angel Norway, David Evans, Charlotte Scott, Jalyn Stapley, Jaden Jenkins, Jacey Gardner, and Brandon Gardner; twenty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition, he is survived by his brothers, Richard “Rick” Clemons of Plain City, OH, and Clayton Gardner of Salyersville, KY, and his partner, Kathy Collingwood.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Carlos and Bonnie, and sisters, Lorean Hamilton, and Josephene Bays.

Friends and family may visit from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, Ohio. Funeral service for Clifford will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 7 in the funeral home with Pastor Ken McBeath officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.
