Connie L. Leeper, 74, of Findlay, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born on September 22, 1951, at Blanchard Valley Hospital to the late William J. Leeper and Doris Maxine (Smith) Leeper. Connie graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1969 with honors and later attended Findlay College.
Connie married Nelson L. Welch, and they later divorced. Together, they had one daughter, Amy (Terry) Eck, who survives outside of Findlay. She later married Richard P. Landess, who preceded her in death.
Connie retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company before moving to Florida, where she lived for 31 years. While in Florida, she opened and operated her own accounting and tax business for 26 years. She also worked as an administrative assistant for the Key Largo Moose Lodge. Connie took pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career.
Connie is survived by her sisters, Billie (Duncan) Daughtery, Jackie (Ron) Scoles, Lee Ann DePinho (Companion, Bradd Chatelain), and Lisa (Mike) Williams; brother, W. Scott (Sue) Leeper; five grandchildren, W. Zachary Flint, Emily Galloway, Farrah (Mitch) Allen, Colt Eck, and Mathew Kellogg; four great-grandchildren, Carson, Vivien, Kami, and Xavier; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis D. Leeper; sister, Marlenne (Ed) Habegger; and grandsons, Dillon Flint, and Brandon Eck.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Findlay Moose Lodge. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a woman who will be deeply missed.
