Connie L. (Mercer) Ward

Connie Lynn Ward, 70, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior October 9, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Born August 13, 1950 in Findlay, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Katheryn L. (Shimp) Mercer.

Connie retired after 20 years in retail and was a life member of the Amvets in Findlay.

Connie is survived by her son, David J. Ward (Kara Pickering) of Findlay; daughter, Kimberly D. (Danny B.) Johnson of LaPorte, IN; grandchildren, Hope Ireland and Vincent Ireland IV. She is also survived by her brothers, Clarence A. (Sherry) Mercer of Clarksville, IN, William E. (Donna) Mercer of Findlay; and sister, Julie A. (Butch) Decker of Findlay. Connie was preceded in death by sister, Patricia S. Williamson.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held in conclusion of visitation on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Adam Malone officiating. Memorial contributions in Connie’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
