Cynthia S Patterson

Cynthia “Muffy” Patterson, 71, of Findlay, was summoned home to be with God on January 30, 2025, at St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1953, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Eldon E. and Bessie L. (Downing) Moffitt. Cynthia married Mark Patterson, and he preceded her in death in 2016. Cynthia was a 1971 graduate of Liberty Benton High School. She attended Calvary United Methodist in Benton Ridge. Over the years, Cindy worked for Consolidated Biscuit Company, Sundor Brands, and finally retired from Findlay City Schools.

Cindy had numerous fur babies, and adored her young neighbor Amara, who would visit and watch television with her. Cindy enjoyed listening to Dr. David Jeremiah, gardening, playing piano, and reading. The family would like to give a special thank you to Melissa and Hannah Kirkendall for watching over Cindy. Cynthia was a very caring person who would do anything for anybody. Cynthia is survived by her siblings, Mary E. (Alonzo L.) Bray of Findlay, Judith A. (Daniel L.) Strelow of Lake Wales, FL, and Carol J. Moffitt of Sylvania, OH; adopted sister, Sonja (Cornelius) Baker of Crane Hill, AL; god son, Randall (Alicia) Bray of Fostoria; special cousin, Carly (Bill Glaser) of McComb; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are her parents, and husband. Friends and family may visit from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Memorial service for Cynthia will be at the conclusion of visitation at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
