D. June Arnold

D. June Arnold, 86, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Heritage Manor. She was born March 11, 1935, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Floyd and Naomi (Miller) Hampton. June married Carl Lee Arnold on March 7, 1953, and he survives her.

June was a South High School Class of 1952, graduate in Columbus. She belonged to many organizations, including the Ohio Star Quilters, Skeeter Swatters Camping Club, Wyandot Camping Club, and the Findlay Antique Club.

June is survived by her husband of 68 years, Carl; son, Jan Christopher (Roxie) Arnold of Congress, Arizona; daughters, Melody J. (Gary) Arnold Heath of Dover, Ohio, Cinda (John) Triplett of Marietta, Ohio, and Jennifer S. (Todd) Thiry of Findlay; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Roger Hampton, and Harold Hampton; 2 sisters, Phyllis Jahn, and Nancy Breckenridge. June was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Hampton; bother-in-law, Tom Jahn; father-in-law, Edson Arnold; and mother-in-law, Gladys Arnold.

Per June’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of June’s life is being planned for the Spring. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in June’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
