Darlene M. Sadler

Darlene Marie Sadler, 81, of Findlay, entered eternal rest October 5, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Leonard and Cora (Whiley) Tackett on February 22, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio. Darlene married Wayne R. Sadler Sr. on December 24, 1961, and in this union, they had two children, Rhonda and Wayne Jr.

Darlene was a member of Victory Chapel Church in Cygnet, Ohio. She enjoyed singing in church and sharing her love of God. She loved going camping and applied her love for interior design to help others furnish and decorate their homes. Above all, Darlene loved her family and spending time with all her grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish Darlene’s memory is her loving husband Wayne of 62 years; two children, Rhonda J. (Charles) Talley of Findlay, and Wayne R. (Heidi) Sadler Jr. of Bowling Green, KY; five beloved grandchildren, Erica (Ruben) Vela of Findlay, Corey (Amanda) Long of Findlay, Chelsea (Fuzz) Owens of Bowling Green, KY, Christopher (Ciara) Talley of Bowling Green, KY, and Casey (Edwin) Ponce; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Wanda (Lee) Polland of Findlay.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Cora; brother, Elwood (Ann) Tackett of Greenup, KY; and sister, Delores (Clinton) Johnson of Van Buren, OH.

Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Darlene’s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Charles Talley conducting the service. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
