David G. Bimslager, age 66, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 12, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
He was born November 23, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Jerome L. and Elizabeth G. (Gerker) Bimslager. He married Deborah Albright in September of 1995, and she survives.
David was a graduate of McClure High School and continued his education earning his associates at Ownes Community College. He loved to play golf and enjoyed reading thrillers and horror novels by Steven King and Dean Koontz.
A proud US Navy veteran, David finished his service aboard the USS Decatur DDG-31.
David is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Deborah; his children, Gloria Bimslager, and Ben Bimslager; stepsons, David, Mike, and Keith Mehrle; his beloved grandchildren; and his siblings, Gary, Genny, and Mark Bimslager, Tess Stone, Susan O’Shea, Jill Hanley, and Laura Hendley. In addition, he is survived by his sisters-in-law, Cindy (Dan) Cassidy, Dawn (Gary) Denny, and Lisa (Bob) Swing-Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Kim Albright, Bill (Dana) Albright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Tony Bimslager.
