David E. Downing

David E. Downing, 74, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. David was born on November 8, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late Clarence and Susie (Risner) Downing. He was a 1965 graduate of Ada High School. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp and served two tours in Vietnam. David was a member of the NRA and loved to golf. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and truly loyal Detroit Lions fan.

David is survived by his sons, Eric (Carolyn) Downing, Nathaniel Downing, and Joshua (Ginger Fast) Downing; 7 grandchildren, Haley Solomon, Chandler Jordan, Alex Downing, Sabrina Downing, Tiffany Wilmoth, Madison Kindle, and Gage Downing; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bud (Eva) Downing.
