David Allen Fagan, 60, of Findlay, passed away peacefully and went to eternal life on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on November 16, 1957 in Findlay, Ohio to Clara (Click) Fagan and the late Danny A. Fagan. On July 7, 1984, David was united in marriage to Susan Rose, a marriage that would last 34 wonderful years.
David was a Cory Rawson graduate and attended Lima Technical College earning his associate's. He went on to work for Findlay Ford and Rieneke as their automotive technician and retiring after 34 years of service. In his early years, David enjoyed paintballing, golfing, and bicycling and often rode his bicycle to work. Later he became interested in gardening and canning. By his family and friends, he was known for his raspberry jelly and peanut brittle and his affection for his family dogs and love and service to his family. David also was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served faithfully.
In addition to his loving wife, Susan, he is survived by his son, Brandon (Kayla) Fagan of Bowling Green, OH; and his only granddaughter, Nilah. David is also survived by his brothers, Danny A. (Connie) Fagan of Findlay, and John (Cathy) Fagan of Columbus; sisters, Chris Hazelton of Hamilton, OH, Connie (Mike) Grunden of Bloomdale, OH, and Nancy (Matt) Oman of Findlay. He leaves behind his loyal pet companions, Abby, Brody, Lily, Porky and Scooby.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service for David will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 21st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2800 Crystal Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840 with Bishop Bruce Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in David's name may be made to the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
