David Jones

David Jones, 82, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at The Heritage in Findlay, OH. He was born in Bluffton, OH on August 13, 1934 to the late Clarence E. and Esther L. (Slusser) Jones. David married Maudra Snyder and she survives in Findlay. David loved growing up and helping his dad around the farm. David is survived by his loving wife, Maudra of 23 years, his sister, Ruth Amstutz from Grangeville, ID, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Joan Jones. Preceding him in death was his brother, Casey Jones; sisters, Margaret Herr, Alice Wingate, and Martha Beach; brothers-in-law, William Herr, Paul Wingate, Jack Beach, and Dwaine Amstutz. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Herbert Wright will officiate and interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in David's name may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
