Deborah Hicks

Deborah Susan Hicks, 75, of Findlay, passed away February 14, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born in Sidney to Karl and Helen (Herring) Klopfenstein on June 1, 1949. Debby married Clarke Hicks. Debby was a graduate of Jackson Center High School and earned her vocational certificate in retail merchandising and psychology. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine. She loved helping others, baking, and sharing her recipes. Debby is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Alex) Arredondo; step-daughter, Nikki Hicks; three grandchildren, Mahailia Adams, Jerome Smith, and Teia Hicks; and great-grandchildren, Wae’lyn, Lailani, and Liliana. In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by her husband, Clarke; son, Jerome Hicks; and brother, Jerome Klopfenstein. Friends and family may visit from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Debby will be at the conclusion of visitation at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Merle Robinson officiating.
