Debra S. Burns

Debra S. Burns, age 72, of Findlay, passed away October 20, 2023. She was born November 8, 1950, in Findlay, to Norman and Betty R. Light. She spent many happy years with her husband and soulmate, Charles “Chuck” Burns, Jr. Debbie devoted nearly 50 years as a nurse doing what she loved best, caring for others.

Those left behind to cherish Debbie’s memory are her husband, Chuck; children, Julie “Jules” (Rob) Cavey, and David W. (Jeannette) Altvater, both of Fostoria; sisters, Linda (Terry) Andrews and Judy (Brian) Prater; half-sister, Theresa (Doug) Burbey; half-brother, Greg (Jeannie) Light; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; stepmoms, Shirley Light and Betty M. Light; stepdad, Robert Ulrich, Sr.; brothers, Robert Ulrich, Jr. and Kevin D. Ulrich; grandparents; and grandchild, Alicia M. Tuttle.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Debbie’s funeral will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home, Pastor Jim Klausing presiding.
