Debra K. Oberlitner, 69, of Findlay, passed away February 7, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Thomas and Gertrude (Fladry) Driscoll on December 19, 1955. She married Michael Oberlitner on June 23, 1990, and he preceded her in death. She graduated from Findlay High School and spent many years as a senior recruiting coordinator. Deb had an amazing sarcastic sense of humor that endeared her to everyone. She fiercely loved her family and friends, especially her grandsons, Carter, Warren, and Leo, and her fur baby, Buster. She loved cooking, crocheting, traveling and any adventure she could go on. She was a member of Findlay Grace Brethren Church. Deb’s friends will always remember her alter ego, “Sha-nay-nay” and so many Deb-isms that we will miss every day.
Deb is survived by her son, Jed (Madison) Oberlitner, of Tiro, Ohio; three grandchildren, Carter, Warren, and Leo; three siblings, Evelyn Thompson, Cathy Driscoll, and Ken (Kim) Driscoll; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Barb Ebersole, Jody Vermilya, Andi Stalsworth, and Ann Hummon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Driscoll. There will be a celebration of Deb’s life on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at Findlay Grace Brethren Church, 209 Lexington Ave., Findlay, OH 45840. Bring a dish to share.
