Delores V. "Del" Frisch

FRISCH, Delores Veronica “Del,” age 95, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Del was born June 24, 1927, in Ottawa Township, Putnam County, Ohio, the only child of Agnes Frank. On August 7, 1948, Del married the love of her life, Raymond J. “Ray” Frisch, at Holy Family Parish in New Cleveland, Ohio.

Del later moved with her husband to Ottawa, Ohio where she raised her two daughters and worked at Phillips Company until her retirement. Throughout her life, Del enjoyed a wide array of interests including: cooking meals for her family, hosting parties for friends, participating in various card game leagues, watching Atlanta Braves baseball games, and extensive domestic and international travel. Del, along with her husband, was a lifelong devout Catholic. Del was a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Parish and a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

Del was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years and her mother. She is survived by her two daughters, Marjorie A. “Marge” Frisch, and Sandra K. “Sandy” (Charles) Stanton, and her two grandchildren, Cody A. Stanton, and Courtney L. (Alexander) Montgomery.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. – 12:00 noon Thursday, May 4, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 750 Bright Rd., Findlay, Ohio 45840, in the church narthex. Del’s funeral mass will follow at 12 noon with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld presiding. Del and Ray will be laid to rest together following mass in Seneca Memory Gardens in Tiffin. Memorial contributions in Del’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or St. Michael the Archangel Parish.  HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
