Delores J. Shumaker

Delores J. Shumaker, 84, of Findlay, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Templeton, Pennsylvania to Edward B. and Anna L. (Myers) Reedy.

Delores is survived by a sisters, Lois Bayliff of Findlay, and Donna Marrapodi of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, a brother, Larry Reedy of Shreveport, Los Angeles. She is also survived by grandchildren, Beth (Rick) Boney, Cory (Angie) Fox, and Jeffery (Heather) Stissel, all of Findlay; great-grandchildren, Austin, Katrina, Cory, Molly, Pierce, Ashley, and Ethan, all of Findlay. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; children, Karen Fox, Harry Fox, Billy and Tommy Fox; two brothers and three sisters, Harold Reedy, Richard (Thelma) Reedy, Helen Hendershot, Beverley Akins, and Sandra (Rex) Waugaman of Kittanning, Pennsylvania.

Delores enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and attending church services. She had a passion and dedication of taking care of the elderly in their homes.

Friends and family may visit Friday, May 13, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Walt Shepperd officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Delores’ name may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 8360 CR 140, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
