Dennis Mccracken

Dennis Lynn McCracken, 85, of Findlay, passed away from injuries sustained from an accident during his morning bicycle commute on October 30, 2024.

He was born in Van Buren to Hartley and Mable (Lyon) McCracken on November 14, 1938. He graduated from Van Buren High School and joined the Army after high school where he served in Japan and Guam. Dennis retired from Cooper Tire.

Dennis is survived by his siblings, Sharon (Lewis) Bishop, Douglas (Lois) McCracken, Donald (Allegonda) McCracken, and Diana (Donovan) Simons.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Carol (Roy) Clark.

Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Dennis will be at the conclusion of visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Joel Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery with Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad rendering military honors.
