Dennis L. Miller

Dennis Lee Miller, 70, of Findlay, passed away October 8, 2024, at The Heritage.

He was born on January 30, 1954, in Bellevue, Ohio, to Forrest E. and Leona Mae (Valentine) Miller. Dennis married Karen Lee Melvin in 1980, and she survives.

Dennis was declared legally blind in 1972. He was a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State School for the Blind in Columbus. Dennis worked for many years at The Ohio State University in the Xray department.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Karen; John Miller of Tiffin, and Ernie Miller of Lima; nephews and nieces, Jeff Miller of Toledo, Steven Miller of Sumter, SC, Jodi Miller of Huntersville, NC, Morgan Miller of Hayes, NC, Stephanie Miller of AL, and Elizabeth Yeager of SC; sisters-in-law, Penny Melvin, Shilah Pierce, Jennifer Gunther, Peggy Melvin, and Sheryl (Roy) Hayhurst, all of Columbus.

Dennis was preceded in death by both parents; his mother-in-law, Joyce Cavavan, and father-in-law, Robert Hecox Melvin.

A Celebration of Life for Dennis will be Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. at The Heritage, 2820 Greenacre Dr., Findlay, 45840. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Dennis’s family.
