Dennis C Montgomery

Dennis C. Montgomery,72, passed away at Cleveland Clinic Friday, May 10, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He’s with his Lord and Savior now.

He was born July 18, 1951, to Carl and Kathryn (Yoder) Montgomery. Dennis married Nanette (Moneer) Amstutz on December 15, 1990.

Dennis is survived by his wife; sons, Bryan (Michelle) Montgomery, Nickolas (Anna) Montgomery; stepsons, Mike (Margaret) Amstutz, Ben (Angie) Amstutz, Nick Amstutz; grandchildren, Dustin, Amber, Felicia, Bryan Jr, Anthony, Nickole; step-grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah, Emma, Mya, Ava, Raina, Ty; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Pever; and aunt, Clara Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents; and in-laws, Robert and Rosemary Moneer.

Dennis graduated from Findlay High School and worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company for 32 years. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and loved his guns. He also loved cars, rebuilding engines, and even built a drag racer. In his younger years, he loved trapping and going to the creek and camping there. Several years of going to Gem Beach made for lots of great times! He and his wife traveled throughout the country before they bought a condo in Fort Myers, Florida and lived there for 16 years, having fun with all their friends there. He always missed his favorite cat, Casey, as she was his sweetheart.

Per Dennis’s request, there will be no services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve his family.
