Diane E. Schlachter

Diane Elise Schlachter, 63, of Findlay, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Saturday, July 11, 2026.

She was born May 9, 1963, in Findlay, to Harold and Elizabeth “Judy” (Crozzer) Curth. Diane married Mark Schlachter Sr., and he survives.

Diane was a manager at Taco Bell for 20 years and also worked at Whirlpool. She was a member of McGuffey Church of Christ and St. Michael the Archangel Parish. She loved taking her beloved girls’ trips, bird watching (especially hummingbirds), fishing, swearing, and being surrounded by family. She was also proud of winning a Bigfoot calling contest.

Those left behind to cherish Diane’s memory are her children, Jamie (Jessica) Schlachter, Benjamin Schlachter, Alissa Schlachter; grandchildren, David, Zoey, Selena, Trinity, Ellyaonna; siblings, Bill (Missie) Curth, Ruth C. Duval, Cathy Bryant, Mark (Kathi) Curth, Judy Stahl, Ray Curth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Mark Schlachter Jr.

Friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Downtown Chapel, 617 W. Main Cross St., Findlay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. following the visitation. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
