Dolores Mae “Candy” Cooper

Dolores Mae "Candy" Cooper, 86, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. Catherine's Manor. Daughter of the late Delphine D. and Ardith M. (Utterback) Kelley, she was born on January 20, 1930 in Elm Creek, Nebraska. Dolores worked in retail for 50 years before retiring from JC Penney. Most recently she worked as a carrier for the Fostoria Review Times. She was never too far away from her .38 revolver. Dolores enjoyed family, friends, pets, playing cards, music, and dancing. Dolores is survived by her children, Richard Kelley of Harrisburg, IL, Tina Cooper-Church of Fostoria, OH, Randy Cooper of Findlay, OH, Tammy Kirkland of Fostoria, OH, Angela Elam of Port Clinton, OH, and Rex Cooper of Fostoria, OH; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dale Kelley; her long-time companion, Keith L. Damon; and a grandchild, Kenny M. Herod. According to Dolores's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
