Dominic James

Dominic James, 32, of Findlay, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was born March 21, 1989 to Freddie Carr and the late Phaedra James.

Dominic was an amazing father to his children Raja and Sana. He was a very kind and gentle person who was proud of being a father and being a dedicated uncle. Dominic was a family man, he not only enjoyed playing sports, but loved watching his children, little brothers, nieces, and nephews play their sports. He was their biggest number one fan! Dominic loved sports in general, rugby, football, and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at family cookouts with good food. Dominic loved playing “The Game” video game. Dominic was a people person, he cared more about others happiness than he did himself.

Dominic is survived by his loving children, Raja and Sana; father, Freddie Carr; brothers, D’on, Michael (Alisha) Hesson, and Isaac Moore; sisters, Chashauna James, and Deanna Carter. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Neera Gupta; nephews, Isaiah, Israel, and Isaac; nieces, Issys Moore, Taya Trey James, and Lily Hesson; cousins, Noah, Isaac, Kailee, Anthony James, Maisha Boyd and family, and Tru’lynn Dolly James; aunts and uncles, Michele, Theodore, William, Anthony and Misty James; grandmother, Marlene Alexander; and grandfather, Theodore James. Dominic was preceded in death by his mother, Phaedra James; brother, Trey James; and uncle, Kenneth James.

Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. at conclusion of visitation on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
