Donna L Taoras

Donna L. Taoras, 79, of Findlay, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. She was born August 26, 1940 in Jeanette, Pennsylvania to the late William and Emma Jones. On August 21, 1971, Donna and Martin were united in marriage and shared 48 years together.

Donna was a member of St. Michael’s Parish and served as Eucharistic Minister for 20 years. She also volunteered for the St. Michael School and was an active member and host to several ministries. Donna found love and great joy with her grandchildren, her outdoor gardens and bird sanctuary, and an avid quilter. She was always willing and available to help anyone in need.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Martin; son, Edward Taoras of Findlay; grandchildren, Nicholas and Larissa Taoras, both of Findlay, and Ashley Crawford of Eugene, OR. She is also survived by brother, Jeri (Michelle) Granata of Pittsburgh. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine Jones; two brothers, Robert Granata, and Edward Jones.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 750 Bright Rd., Findlay, OH with Monsignor Michael Hohenbrink as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior (10-11 a.m.) to the service in the church narthex.
